On Thursday 20th October 2022, The High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to Malaysia H.E Dr. Ramadhani K. Dau has met with the former Prime Minister of Malaysia H.E. Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad at the Perdana Foundation building in Putrajaya.
During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on Tanzania-Malaysian relations in the political, economic and investment spheres, as well as exchanged views on the opportunities for developing trade in Malaysia and other countries of South-East Asian with East-African countries in general.
H.E Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad highlighted on the transformation of Malaysia from being a third world county to a globally competitive force today in a very short period of time in history and culture.
The meeting finally ended with agreement from both leaders on sharing a roadmap to mutual development for both Nations. Moreover, Malaysia is looking forward to receiving Tanzanian leaders in guiding them for that cause.
