KUALA LUMPUR: Thirteen foreign envoys to Malaysia presented their credentials to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah at Istana Negara today.
Nine of them are resident in Kuala Lumpur and four in other countries.
Those resident in Kuala Lumpur are Kolinio Gata Takali of Fiji; Karin Marike Mossenlechner (the Netherlands); Abukar Abdi Osman (Somalia); Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt (Sweden); Rodrigo Perez Manriquez (Chile); Dr Ramadhani Kitwana Dau (Tanzania); Maria Castillo Fernandez (the European Union); Mohammed Reda Ben Khaldoun (Morocco) and Dr Adel Mohamed Ali Ba Hamid (Yemen).
The four non-resident envoys are Sylvestre Koassi Bile (Cote d'Ivoire, resident in Seoul); Anna Aghadjanian (Armenia, resident in Jakarta); Felix Ngoma (Congo, resident in New Delhi) and Manuel Eduardo Dos Santos E Silva Bravo (Angola, resident in New Delhi).
Tuanku Abdul Halim and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah then posed for photographs with the envoys. Also present was Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican. - Bernama
