H.E. Dr. Mahadhi Juma Maalim, Tanzania High Commissioner to Malaysia. On the 9th of August 2024, met and held discussion with representatives of Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) led by Mr. Mohd Fadil Arif, Registrar of the University.  The discussion focused on the possibility of having a special arrangement of bringing Tanzanians to study at UTP in the areas of Gas and Petroleum engineering, the fields which UTP is well established and well known for.
